EKH DC files FIR against Syiem of Sohra

An FIR has been registered against the Syiem of Sohra in connection with extortion case.

The complaint was lodged by the East Khasi Hills deputy commissioner recently. 

Confirming this on Tuesday, district SP Sylvester Nongtnger said the case has been registered at Shella police station and the case is being investigated by the inspector CI Mawngap

“The IO will investigate as per procedure,” he said.
