Emergency load shedding to be resorted in Meghalaya

The Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited has alerted the people of Meghalaya that emergency load shedding will be resorted in entire state depending on availability of power for the next three days from Monday.

The load shedding is resorted due to emergency shutdown of one unit of OTPC power station, Tripura for three days from Monday resulting in decrease share of power front central generating station.
