Entire State Bank of India branches closed down in East Jaintia Hills
The District Magistrate, East Jaintia Hills District informs the general public that the Health Department, East Jaintia Hills District has reported that the District has one Covid-19 positive case from 30.06.2020.
He also stated that the Health Department, East Jaintia Hills District has requested temporary closure of the State Bank of India, Khliehriat Branch, State Bank of India, Sutnga Branch, State Bank of India, Ladrymbai Branch and Wika Hotel wherein it is felt needed that contact tracing needed be done to those who have come in contact with the patient for conduct of RTPCR tests to all High risk contacts as well as to the low risk contacts.
The District Magistrate, East Jaintia Hills District in an Order Under Section 144 Cr P.C read together with Regulation 3 of the Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases. COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Guideline No 5(1) of Order of Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs has prohibited the opening of the State Bank of India, Khliehriat Branch, State Bank of India, Ladrymbai Branch, State Bank of India, Sutnga Branch and Wika Hotel with immediate effect until further orders in the interest and safety of public as well as to contain any transmission of Covid-19.
