Ex-minister joins BJP

SHILLONG: Former minister and leader from Jaintia Hills Edmund S Lyngdoh and former joint director of Home Guards & Civil Defence Albinus Saio on Wednesday formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The two were officially welcomed by the party MLA Sanbor Shullai and state president Shibun Lyngdoh during a meeting held at the BJP state office in the city here.

Both stated they are very inspired with the ideology and positive nationalism portrayed by BJP under a great and successful leader like Narendra Modi.
