FICCI FLO Northeast welcomes new leadership for 2025-26, aims to strengthen women’s empowerment

The FICCI FLO Northeast Chapter is poised for a transformative year with the appointment of its new leadership team for the 2025-26 term. The official change of guard ceremony was held recently at Vivanta, Guwahati, followed by a national-level event at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi.
Taking the helm as chairperson for the upcoming year is Rashmi Manchanda, a seasoned entrepreneur and advocate for women’s empowerment. With a strong track record in business and social initiatives, Manchanda is set to drive FLO Northeast’s mission of fostering self-reliance, financial independence, and growth opportunities for women across the region.
Joining her in this leadership journey are Pronita Baruva, senior vice chairperson; Bela Nawka, vice chairperson; Latika Jhunjhunwala, secretary; Manashree Prakash, joint secretary; Neha Khandelwal, treasurer and Geetanjali Kakati, joint treasurer.
The new team has outlined a vision focused on expanding programs in education, entrepreneurship, skill development, health, safety, and financial literacy for women. With a strong emphasis on grassroots initiatives, the chapter aims to equip women from diverse backgrounds with the tools to become self-sufficient leaders in their respective fields.
The chapter also expressed its gratitude to Joyshree Das Verma, the outgoing National President, for her outstanding leadership and contributions. Her tenure saw significant strides in strengthening the FLO network, inspiring countless women to take charge of their professional and personal growth.
