Financial assistance to NGOs/ CLUBS/ SHGs in East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District informed the general public that proposals are invited from the Non Governmental Organizations(NGOs)/ Clubs/ Self Help Group(s) (SHGs) of East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat for availing of Financial Assistance / Grant in Aid under the Chief Minister Youth Development Scheme.

The Programmes/ Activities for financial assistance under this Scheme includes Youth Programme, Cleaning Drive coincide with Gandhiji Birthday, Workshop/ Seminars on Youth Problem and Youth Development, Youth Counseling Programme.

The Financial Assistance to be sanctioned under this Scheme will depend on the merit of the application/proposal. The proposals received from the NGOs/ SHGs/ Clubs shall be scrutinized by the District Level Screening Committee and the decision of the Committee will be final.

Interested Organizations/ Clubs/ SHGs/ Youth Group etc. are to submit their proposals in plain paper along with the details of the programme/ activities, objectives along with Registration Certificate to the Office of the District Planning Officer, East Jaintia Hills District on or before 2^nd November, 2020.
