Financial education imparted through webinar for students of Kiang Nangbah Govt. College

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kiang Nangbah Government College, Jowai had organised a webinar in collaboration with National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), a body promoted by RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and PFRDA with the objective to promote Financial Education across India for all sections of the population on Financial Awareness and Consumer Training (FACT).

The webinar was held on August 17. The Webinar was hosted by Dr. Sudipto Ghosh and co-hosted by Dr. Jay Prakash Sharma, IQAC Coordinator.

The webinar was started with an opening remark and welcome speech by Dr. E.M.Blah, Principal K.N.Govt. College, Jowai.

Financial Awareness and Consumer Training (FACT) is a programme to provide financial education to young graduates, Teachers and Non-teaching Staffs, on topics relevant to them, which will positively impact their financial well-being.

Nearly 500 students, 45 Teaching staff and 2 Non-teaching Staff had joined the Webinar and it was really interesting and helpful for everyone. The webinar was ended with concluding remarks and vote of thanks by Dr. Jay Prakash Sharma, IQAC Coordinator.
