FIR filed against DACF for staging NCM in West Garo Hills

The executive magistrate of West Garo Hills district, TMG Momin on Wednesday lodged a complaint against the Dalu Area Citizens’ Forum (DACF) for alleged violation against the court order.

The FIR said that the Forum had called for a non-cooperation movement from August 18 to August 19.

The call for NCM and its subsequent implementation is in violation of the order of High Court of Meghalaya and provision of Meghalaya Maintenance of Public Order Act, the complaint stated.
