First COVID-19 case reported in North East

In an alarming state of affairs, the first positive case of COVID-19 was reported in Manipur on Tuesday.

The patient is 23 years and has recently returned from one of the affected COVID-19 states in India.

The sample was collected from patient on Monday and the case was confirmed positive on Tuesday.
