Food grains for PM-POSHAN Scheme released in East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills District, has announced that food grains (rice) under the Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM-POSHAN) Scheme for February and March 2025 have been released.

The supply is designated for Lower Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools, and Bal-Vatika (Pre-Primary level) and will be delivered free of cost to schools by approved government nominees.

The distribution scale is as follows:

Bal-Vatika (Pre-Primary): 2.568 kg per student

Lower Primary Schools: 2.868 kg per student

Upper Primary Schools: 7.264 kg per student
