Forever Young to organize midnight swim on Dec 31

The Forever Young will be organizing the 24^th Midnight Swim on December 31, at the Crinoline Swimming Pool to welcome the New Year 2022 with a prayer to the almighty for strength to face the challenges of the new year.

Five and a half tonnes of ice blocks will be put inside the pool for the event. Participants are requested not to take any kind of intoxicants before taking part in the event otherwise the challenge will be lost.

As per the direction from the East Khasi Hills deputy commission, only those who have completed their double Covid vaccination are allowed to participate in this event. This was informed by the general secretary of the Forever Young M Thabah in a statement issued on Monday.
