Free LPG connection for poor women

The Deputy Commissioner ( Supply), West Jaintia Hills District has informed that the Government of India has announced to release free LPG connection to economically backward women beneficiaries and West Jaintia Hills is one of the District listed for releasing of free LPG connection,

In connection with this the Deputy Commissioner has informed that the Sub-Divisional Officer (civil) Amlarem Sub-Division, Amlarem and Block Development Officers of the District and requested to identify the economically backward women beneficiaries within their jurisdiction for enrolling them in the scheme through village heads.
