Fresh electoral enrolment underway in East Khasi Hills

The District Election Officer (DEO), East Khasi Hills has informed that the draft photo electoral roll for the Assembly Constituency of 13-Mawryngkneng (ST), 14-Pynthorumkhrah (GEN), 15-Mawlai (ST), 16-East Shillong (ST), 17-North Shillong (ST), 18-West Shillong (GEN), 19-South Shillong (GEN), 20-Mylliem (ST), 21-Nongthymmai (ST), 22-Nongkrem (ST), 23-Sohiong (ST), 24-Mawphlang (ST), 25-Mawsynram (ST), 27-Pynursla (ST) and 29-Mawkynrew (ST) has been prepared with reference to 1^st January, 2021 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. Copy of the roll is available for inspection at the office of the District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills and at the concerned Polling Stations from 16.11.2020 to 15.12.2020.

If, with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before the 15^th December, 2020 in Form 6, 7, 8 or 8A as may be appropriate. Claims and objections can be lodged at the DEO office, East Khasi Hills and in all the Block Development Offices during office hours and at the concerned Polling Stations with the concerned Booth Level Officers.
