Fresh flashflood in Sonapur Tunnel

There seem to no end of landslides or flash floods in National Highway 06 under East Jaintia Hills District making travelling along the highway a perilous one as anything anywhere can happen.

Police informed that there gas been a fresh bout of flash flood near Sonapur Tunnel on Monday morning.

Police said sincere efforts are on to clear the same as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, Commuters are again advised to delay travelling through this route till the same is cleared.
