Gaud to be imprisoned for 5 years for crime under PoSCO Act

The Court of Special Judge POCSO, East Jaintia Hills District Khliehriat has sentenced Biru Gaud to three years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000/- only for an offence under section 8 of POCSO Act and sentence to 5(five) years imprisonment with the fine of Rs 10,000/- only for an offence punishable under section 10 POCSO Act.

Gaud was convicted in connection with Khliehriat Women Police Station Case No. 43(12)2022 U/s 7/8/9(l)/10 POCSO Act. The Investigation was done meticulously and Charge sheeted vide CS No.02/2023 dated 3-01-2023.
