General Observer appointed for 36 Assembly Constituencies under 1-Shillong Parliamentary Constituency

The Election Commission of India has appointed Mukul Sharma, IAS officer as General Observer to the Lok Sabha, 2024 for 1- Shillong Parliamentary Constituency.

The Election General Observer for the ensuing General Election has arrived and stationed at Pinewood Hotel, Shillong.

The General Observer will cover 36 assembly constituencies under 1-Shillong Parliamentary Constituency and spread out in seven districts.

The 36 assembly constituencies are 1-Nartiang, 2-Jowai, 3- Raliang, 4-Mowkaiaw, 5-Sutnga Saipung, 6-Khliehriat, 7-Amlarem, 8-Mawhati, 9-Nongpoh, 10- Jirang, 11-Umsning, 12-Umroi, 13-Mawryngkneng, 14-Pynthorumkhrah, 15-Mawlai, 16-East Shillong. 17-North Shillong, 18-West Shillong, 19-South Shillong, 20-Mylliem, 21-Nongthymmai, 22-Nongkrem, 23-Sohiong. 24-Mawphlang, 25-Mawsynram, 26-5bella, 27-Pynursia, 28- Sohra, 29- Mawkynrew, 30- Mairang, 31-Mawthadraishan, 32-Nongstoin, 33-Rambrai, 34- Mawshynrut, 35-Ranikor, 36-Mawkyrwat.

Similarly, the ECI has appointed Ponugunatla Ramjee IPS as the Election Police Observer for the ensuing General Election to the Lok Sabha, 2024 for 1- Shillong Parliamentary Constituency.

The Election Police Observer has arrived and stationed at Pinewood Hotel, Shillong.
