GHADC deputy CEM launches Renaka App on Garo Hills Day

Renaka App which is similar to Rapido, Uber and Ola App has been launched by the Deputy CEM of GHADC Nikman Marak and Forest EM Ashahel D Shira on September 24, to mark the 155th anniversary of Garo Hills Day.

This project is part of the Viksit Bharat initiative taken up by the Tura MDC Bernard N Marak and his team of young talented programmers and coders.

In a statement on Thursday, Bernard N Marak said, Renaka will try to explore means to strengthen the transport department of GHADC and generate more revenues for the Council. This App will also be AI coded and would explore avenues to create part time jobs for the young people of the town.

It will create synergy among the Autorickshaw and two wheeler operators as the customer can hire at any location at any time in the town with multiple AI generated options, facilities and security options. It will be GPS driven App and all rides will be recorded and monitored officially.

It will be at par with the Rapido, Ola, Uber Apps which helped our local developers and programmers to enhance the services. 

Marak said the service will officially start from first week of October as the registrations are still going on for the three wheelers and two wheeler operators. The autorickshaw association of Tura and other units are collaborating with the team to bring in multiple online booking system of picking, dropping even delivering products to customers. Male/female riders option will also be available as required. This will be convenient for any passenger who needs to be picked and dropped at any time in the town area. The service will also be introduced in rural areas too.

“The students will benefit out of it as they can book from any place and those willing to earn an extra income can register and start a two wheeler ride services through this app. Tura and whole of Garo Hills will see many more innovative projects in the future which will focus to transform the standard of the lifestyle of the people and create part time jobs for the young people in the Nation’s march into becoming Viksit Bharat,” he also said.
