GHADC EC direct employees to resume work, threatens to impose ‘no work, no pay’
The NPP-led executive committee in the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) on Tuesday directed all its employees to resume office work from September 22, failing which “no work, no pay” will be imposed against them.
An order issued by the Principal Secretary after a meeting of the EC said, “If anyone fails to attend the office it will be treated as no work no pay.”
It said the employees of GHADC should attend the office from 10 am to 5pm and should sign the attendance register placed in respective departments for the purpose after which the attendance register will be sent to the Chief Executive Member for his necessary action.
Further, all casual employees and muster rolls are also directed to attend the office on or before 10.30 am every working day, the order stated.
