Girls Children Home declared micro containment in Shillong

The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in orders issued on 2^nd November, 2020 has declared the A W Thomas Girls Children Home at Jaiaw Lumsyntiew and Flat A-1, Sutnga Apartment at Streamlet Road, Laban as micro containment areas.

The order was issued after the detection of positive COVID-19 cases/high risk contacts as they requires contact tracing, testing and isolation to be effected in the interest of the health of the general public to prevent against any possible spread of COVID-19.

The order restrict unregulated entry and exit in the affected areas.

In another order, the District Magistrate has lifted the containment for the Compound of Annie Rumnong, La I Mei Lane, Holy Ground Road at Nongkynrih, Laitumkhrah and the First Floor of the House of Wanda Marbaniang at Wahingdoh.
