Governor Acharya administers oath of office to Chief Justice of Manipur
Assam and Manipur Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office to, Justice D. Krishnakumar as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur at a solemn ceremony held at the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Friday.
Justice D. Krishnakumar served as a judge at Madras High Court was appointed as the Chief Justice of High Court of Manipur by the President of India on November 20 following the superannuation of the incumbent, Justice Siddharth Mridul.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Th. Satyabrata Singh, Cabinet Ministers, MP Rajya Sabha Sanajaoba Leishemba, MLAs, Judges of High Court of Manipur and subordinate courts, top civil, police and military officers and a host of dignitaries attended the swearing-in ceremony.
