Govt carries out reshuffle in Meghalaya police, EKH SP transferred

In a reshuffle in the state police, the state government has transferred 22 IPS and MPS officers.

Mukesh Kumar Singh, IPS(RR 2003), Inspector General of Police (L&O), Shillong has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police-Commandant General, Civil Defence & Home Guards while Jerry F.K Marak, IPS(SPS 2011), Inspector General of Prisons, Shillong was transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura , according to a notification issued by Secretary in-charge Home (Police) CVD Diengdoh on Friday.

Sylvester Nongtnger, IPS(SPS 2012), Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong vice Rituraj Ravi, IPS transferred.

Rituraj Ravi, IPS(RR 2013), Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Shillong is transferred and posted as Commandant, 6th MLP Bn.

Herbert G. Lyngdoh, IPS (SPS 2015), Superintendent of Police, Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Shillong is transferred and posted as Commandant, 1st MLP Bn, Mawiong.

Mary G.T. Sangma, IPS(SPS 2015), Principal, Police Training School, Umran is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Shillong.

Vivek Syiem, IPS (SPS 2015), Superintendent of Police, CID, Shillong is transferred and posted as Asstt. Inspector General of Police (L&0), Shillong.

Lakador Syiem, IPS (SPS 2017), Commandant, 4th MLP Bn, Sohpian is transferred and posted as Principal, Police Training School, Umran.

Dr Dara Aswaghosh, IPS (RR 2018), Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills, Tura is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (City), Shillong.

Pankaj Kumar Rasgania, IPS (RR 2020), Superintendent of Police, City, Shillong is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (Sadar), Shillong against the existing vacancy.

Pawar Swapnil Vasantrao, IPS (RR 2020), Commandant, 1st MLP Bn, Mawiong is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, North Garo Hills District, Resubelpara.

Bashanborlang J. Laloo, MPS, Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura is transferred and posted as Commandant, SF-10, Shillong.
