Govt to extend provision essential kits to all COVID-19 patients undergoing home isolation
The state government has decided to again extend provision essential kits to all COVID-19 patients who are undergoing home isolation across the state.
The decision was taken during a review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday.
Addressing media persons, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said, “We have decided that all patients who are under going home isolation will be provided with provision essential kits.”
“Therefore, we will again extend assistance from the government as was done last year,” he added.
Tynsong said the decision was taken after seeing the hardship and problems faced by COVID-19 patients and their families under going home isolation.
He informed that all deputy commissioners have been entrusted to effectively implement the decision taken by the state government.
