Hail stones hit Jaintia Hills

Moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and hail stones hit parts of West Jaintia Hills on Sunday.

A large area of roads and hills along Jowai By-Pass (Khliehtyrshi-Mihmyntdu) and neighbouring villages were covered with hailstones.

The traffic movement was disrupted as the road turn slippery.
