Heavy vehicle traffic curbed during NH-6 repairs in East Jaintia Hills

The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Disaster Management Authority East Jaintia Hills District has decided to restrict the movement for Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM from Monday to Saturday in the entire stretches of the ongoing repair and renovation works of NH-6 in East Jaintia Hills District.

Due to the High Court of Meghalaya, the NHAI is carrying out construction works, renovation and repair of the National Highway-6 Road along the stretch from Lumshnong upto Malidor.
