HNLC asks Govt to make public report in killing of its ex-leader
The banned Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) has demanded the state government to make public the report of the One Man Commission of Inquiry into the alleged gunning down of the former Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) leader Cheristerfield Thangkhiew on August 13, last year.
Addressing media persons on Tuesday, HNYF president Sadon Blah said, “The HNLC would like to make it clear that the state government must make public the findings of the Justice T Vaiphei inquiry committee regarding the assassination of late Cheristerfield Thangkhiew.”

Blah, who is HNLC representative for the peace talks, said he does not see any reason why the government should delay in making public the findings of the committee.
The report will be maximum only 50 pages and any class XII student will be able to finish reading the 50 pages in two days,he said.
