The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills has removed the containment tag from several areas in Shillong after no new COVID-19 cases were reported.

The areas that have been unsealed are:

House of Rodha Wahlang at Jaiaw Langsning.

House of Mrs. N Marwein at Lawsohtun Block-5.

Apartment of Mr. Jibotosh Bhattacharjee, tenant of Dr. Phanbuh Building at Bishnupur Inverneil.

Apartment of Mr. Kmalendu Roy, tenant of Mr. Manaf Bindra Ghosh Building, Opposite of Mrs. O.B Tariang Building at Rilbong.

Residence of Kenneth Mawthoh at Dhanketi, Malki.

Compound of Dr. Micky Khyriem (including the tenants) at Lawjynriew Lumbasuk-A, Nongthymmai.

Quarter No. E-6 of Survey of India, Barik.

In another, the district administration declared the compound of Annie Rumnong, La I Mei Lane, Holy Ground Road, Nongkynrih, Laitumkhrah, House of Amarjeet Singh and Gurmeet Singh, Opposite Angel’s Play School at Upper Lachumiere and the Compound of Smti. Rejoice Chyne at Nongrimbah Block-III, Laitumkhrah as Micro-Containment.
