House damaged in fire incident

A fire broke out at the residence of Dr Werlok Kharshiing of Woodland Hospital on Thursday night.

The incident took place at around 9 pm at Dhankheti, Malki.

Police sources said that the fire has damaged the Assam-type house. Fortunately, there was no casualty reported during the incident.

They said that the cause that led to the incident may be due to electricity short circuit.
