Hunt for Miss Jowai 2023 is on

Diza’s Socio & Sports Club, in collaboration with A & G Enterprise, has announced the upcoming Miss Jowai Pageant 2023 in the month of December under the theme “Empowering Her: Grace, Culture, Sustainability.”

In a statement issued here, the Diza’s Socio & Sports Club said that the Miss Jowai Pageant is a celebration of beauty, intellect, and empowerment wherein the event aims to empower young women by providing them a platform to shine, express their individuality, and make a positive impact in the community.

Aspiring participants can register from August 28, 2023 to the end of September 30, 2023.

Auditions will be held in the first week of October 2023. Contestants will have the chance to present their unique talents and qualities to the panel of judges.

The Personality Development Training Programme will commence from October 2023 onwards and is designed to enhance the overall personality of the contestants, helping them develop confidence, grace, and poise. 

The grand finale of the Miss Jowai Pageant 2023 will take place in December 2023. 

The Miss Jowai Pageant aims to empower young women by providing a platform for personal growth, self-expression, and community engagement. 

Young women with the following criteria can apply, age: 18 – 27 Years (27 years as of August 31, 2023), height: 5’2″ and above (Without Heels), relationship Status: Single, not-engaged, unmarried and never been married before.

All Permanent Residents of Jaintia Hills District and members of the Pnar community holding a bonafide Scheduled Tribe Certificate can apply.
