Husband allegedly murdered wife & escaped in West Jaintia Hills

One woman was brutally murdered allegedly by her husband in West Jaintia Hills District and ran away after commission of the heinous crimes.

Police said that P Samaiang and Ribiang Langstang lodged a written complaint at Phramer Traffic Cell that they highly suspected that Roibiang Pakma had murdered their sister Rodit Langstang.

Police said that the accused is the husband of the deceased and he has been absconding since the day they found her dead body inside her residence at Pammanik village on June 1st last.

Police said that out of ignorance they buried her body on the same day as they believed that the body had been lying there for the past few days.

Police informed the dead body was exhumed for post mortem and a murder case has been registered against the husband who is on the run.
