I-League: Lajong aims to close points gap against Churchill Brothers
Lajong will play their next I-League match tomorrow against Churchill Brothers FC at 7 p.m. in Tilak Maidan, Goa.
Lajong comes into this match with a draw against Rajasthan United in the last match and are placed 6th on the points table with 26 points under their belt and just 1 point behind 5th position Inter Kashi with 2 games in hand with 7 wins, 5 draws, and 4 losses from 16 matches.
During the press conference held earlier today, Lajong head coach Bobby L. Nongbet addressed to the media that he is looking forward going into tomorrow’s match after a disappointing last match where they threw away all 3 points against Rajasthan United but he is confident that the team will bounce back and focus on tomorrow match. Coach Bobby also said that the team will fight for all three points and reduce the points gap with the top 4 teams in the table.
Meanwhile Churchill Brothers are placed 11th on the points table with 4 wins, 5 draws and 7 losses from 15 matches, accumulating 17 points.
Both teams will be looking for all three points in tomorrow I-League clash.
