I-League: Lajong FC eyes victory against Gokulam Kerala in final home game
Shillong Lajong FC will play Gokulam Kerala FC on Saturday in the Matchday 5 of the I-League 2024-25 season at 4:30 pm in SSA Stadium, Shillong.
After their huge win over Rajasthan United FC in the last match, Lajong will look to continue and go on a winning streak against a competitive Gokulam Kerala side and will look forward to end their 2024 home campaign with a victory tomorrow.
In the pre-match press conference held earlier today Lajong head coach, Jose Carlos Rodriguez Hevia expressed that the team will look to continue their good form after a spiriting display against table toppers Inter Kashi & a dominating win over Rajasthan United. Coach Jose Hevia also said that they will look for all 3 points tomorrow and end their 2024 home campaign on a positive note.
Lajong are currently in 6th position with a win, two draws & a loss with 5 points after 4 matches while Gokulam Kerala are currently in 7th position also tied with 5 points from 4 matches with just a goal difference separating the two sides.
Both teams will look forward to grab all the 3 points and climb up higher the table in the league.
