I-League: Shillong Lajong secures impressive 3-0 win against Namdhari FC

Shillong Lajong defeated Namdhari FC by 3-0 in the I-League match held in Shillong on Saturday. Karim Samb put Lajong ahead in the 27^th minute and it was Lajong who took the lead going into the half-time.

In the second half Lajong dominated the play and once again doubled their lead through a wonderful solo goal by their captain Renan Paulino De Souza in the 54^th minute.

Lajong continued to show their dominance and scored their third goal through their substitute Kenstar Kharshong in the dying minutes of the match. With this win, Shillong Lajong have climbed to fifth place with 19 points from 11 matches. 

Shillong Lajong will now shift their focus to the Kalinga Super Cup which will take place in January in Bhubaneshwar.
