I Love You’s brother & another brutally murdered one person for his vehicle

After two weeks of long wait for his missing brother Pynkhreh Surong, Phrangki Surong was shocked and griefed when he was informed that his beloved brother who was missing will no longer return home as he was brutally murdered by two criminals on the day itself he went missing.

Police said Pynkhreh Surong from Mynsngat Village under Nartiang PS was missing from his residence since March 9, last along with one brand new Mahindra Pick-up driven by the missing person himself.

Police said on the basis of FIR lodged by Phrangki Surong, an investigation was made into the matter and concluded to be of a murder case.

Police said two suspects has been apprehended and revealed they murdered Pynkhreh at Ummulong area during investigation & they led to recovery of Pynkhreh’s body on Wednesday morning.

The slained body was dumped at forested area near NH 06 in Pommura under jurisdiction of Mawryngkneng PS after committing the crime.

The two suspected were identified as Meban Talang who is ironically the brother the notorious criminal I Love You Talang who was lynched by angry mob and the other accomplise is identified as Sambun Dkhar from Mynsngat areas.

The two suspects murdered Pynkhreh for his vehicle and after murdering him they sold his vehicle, police said.

The modus operandi and motive are apparently similar to the one adopted by the slained I Love You Talang.

Inquest & PME has been conducted and the body was handed over to relatives.

Efforts are still on to locate the vehicle which was also missing till date. Criminal case has been initiated as per appropriate sections of law and further investigation is on the anvil.
