IEDs recovered in West Garo Hills

Two suspected IEDs hidden in a green bag under a hume pipe culvert were recovered during a counter-insurgency operation conducted near Dollongre in West Garo Hills district.

One IED was assembled in a pressure cooker and another in a tin paint box. Total weight is expected to be around 10 Kg.

Both IEDs have been destroyed in-situ. Investigation is on.
