IIM Shillong starts training for 11th Batch of PGPEX
The 11th Batch of the One-year Full-time residential Post Graduate Program for Executives (PGPEX) will formally start from Tuesday in IIM’s Umsawli campus, East Khasi Hills District.
49 participants from various industries have been selected to learn from IIM Shillong PGPEX programme.
Inaugurating the programme, Rajesh Uppal member Executive Board (HR, IT, Safety, DE) Maruti Suzuki India Ltd said that Agile business requires a fresh and out-of-the-box perspective, ‘You will be the difference maker and flag bearer of the Indian economy.”
Speaking as Guest of Honour, Prof. Gabriel Hawawini, Emeritus Professor and Former Dean, INSEAD said that the world is a better place and doing business is a fantastic tool as business prospects can bring in friendship among countries and is one of the best resolutions for International relations.
Prof. B H Jajoo urged students to come up with new business models during their one-year tenure as students.
In his welcome address, Prof D P Goyal expressed his satisfaction with the Industry demand for Management students for placements and IIM Shillong is one of the sought-after institutes for many corporates.
