Indian Information Service trainees visit Meghalaya Governor for learning exchange
Ten Officer Trainees (OTs) from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, part of the Indian Information Service (IIS) Group ‘A,’ paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan, at Raj Bhavan, Shillong on Saturday.
Their visit is a part of their learning experience in order to gain insight into the region and its communication dynamics. The meeting involved insightful discussions on the communication landscape of Meghalaya and the broader roles of media in public service.
The visit also provided a platform for the Officer Trainees to gain insights from the Governor, who offered valuable guidance and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of effective communication.
