Inter School Futsal Competition U-13 boys will be organize in Shillong

SHILLONG: The Futsal Association of Meghalaya (FAM) will organize the Under-13 (Boys) Inter-School Futsal Competition from the 25th to 27th April 2019 at the Indoor Sports Stadium, Laban from 9 AM onwards.

Registration for the competition will commence from the 10th April 2019 and it would be on a First Come First Serve basis as only a limited number of teams will be registered. No entry fees or registration fees will be charged from the participating schools. The games will be played in a league and knock-out format. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners, runners-up and player of the tournament so also trophies, medals and certificates will be distributed

Prior to the tournament, the association will conduct a clinic on Futsal and its rules regulations to all the participating team.

FAM has an intention to give awareness to many schools in the State to educate the youth for the importance and better understanding of Futsal.
