Jacob L Shylla attained PhD degree

Jacob Leslie Shylla, son of (L) J.L.P Kynjing and DA Shylla, was recently conferred the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy by The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad for his doctoral dissertation titled, “Continuing Professional Development: Developing Innovative Ways to Empower College Teachers of English in Shillong, Meghalaya.”

His research was supervised by Prof. T.K Kharbamon, Former Director, EFLU, Shillong and currently the Vice-Chancellor of Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong.

He is a lecturer in St Anthony’s College Shillong.
