Jowai MLA inaugurates Silver Jubilee celebration of Lion

Jowai legislator Wailadiki Shylla on Saturday inaugurated the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Lion Sports and Youth Affair, Jowai, Mission Compound Jowai.

Speaking on the occasion Wailadmiki congratulated the leaders, youths and members of the Lion Club Mission on the joyous occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebration. He reiterated that a society develops when there is understanding and cooperation among the residents of the locality and involvement of the youths.  

He stressed on the importance of sports and youth affairs and motivated the youths to bring up the youths from one’s own locality. 

The LSAYA was formed in 1996 with an aims to nature the youths providing personality development skills.  Theme for the Silver jubilee celebration “Iutran waheh da sien na chwa, ki khmat salan u bang pynbha”.

The function was also attended by MA Challam, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Jowai as the guest of honor. 

The silver jubilee celebrations would conclude on September 2021.
