KHADC budget session to commence from March 17

SHILLONG: The Budget Session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) will commence from March 17.

This was informed by the Secretary to the District Council in a notification issued here on Thursday.

“In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-rules (1) and (3) of the Assam and Meghalaya Autonomous District (Constitution of District Councils) Rules, 1951, as amended, PN Syiem, Chairman of KHADC has fixed March 17 as the date for commencement of the Budget Session, it said.
