KHADC decides to postpone Monolith Festival to March 7
The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has decided to postpone the Monolith Festival to March 7, 8 and 9.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Coordination Committee Monolith Festival 2024 on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by KHADC executive members, MDCs, representatives of different departments, Hima Mawphlang and the event management team.
“We have decided to postpone the Monolith Festival to March 7, 8 and 9 due to unavoidable circumstances,” member secretary of the committee R Karraswai said in a statement on Wednesday.

Earlier, the festival was scheduled to be held on February 22, 23 and 24.
