KHADC’s Notification on Fishing Competitions revoked

The Governor of Meghalaya has denotified a notification of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council relating to the administration and control of holding fishing competitions on ground that due procedure has not been followed for the publication of the said notification.

The notification vide No.DCA.33/2012/520 Dated 19, September 2023, informed that the erring notification was issued vide No.DC/RBF/XXXII/64/2023/171 dated 14.07.2023 and was published in Part-II A of the Gazette of Meghalaya dated 3rd August, 2023.

“Now, therefore, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to declare that the publication of the said Notification No.DC/RBF/XXXII/64/2023/171 dated 14.07.2023 of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council in the Gazette of Meghalaya dated 3rd August, 2023 is revoked.”
