Kharkongor as new Commissioner of Division Khasi Jaintia Region

The Meghalaya Government has effected minor bureaucratic reshuffles at the Commissioner & Secretary level.

F.R Kharkongor, IAS (RR: 2000), Commissioner & Secretary, Arts & Culture, Community & Rural Development etc., Departments shall also function as Commissioner of Division, Khasi & Jaintia Region, Shillong and as Commissioner & Secretary, State Planning Board.

C.V.D. Diengdoh, IAS (RR: 2010), Secretary, Personnel & A.R., Finance, Political etc., Departments shall also function as Secretary, General Administration Department.
He is, however, relieved of his functions as Secretary, Finance Department.

S.C. Sadhu, IAS, Secretary, Community & Rural Development, Fisheries Departments etc., shall also function as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Finance Department.

Syed Md. A. Razi, IRTS, Commissioner & Secretary, Forests & Environment, Public Works (R&B) etc., Departments shall also function as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Public Works (Buildings) Department.
