Khliehriat | Weighbridge allow to operate

The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District in a press release issued here informs the general public that in compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and order issued by the Government of Meghalaya. The activity that has also been permitted in the East Jaintia Hills District is the operation of Weighbridge to facilitate the checking of loaded vehicles.

In addition, the Transport Department shall notify the weighbridge to be operational, to regulate the schedule and timing of operations and ensure strict compliance to all protocols and guidelines prescribed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. 

However, they are to strictly maintain hygiene and cleanliness, wash their hands frequently with soap and   to cooperate with the District Administration and Police. All village authorities are requested to strictly adhere to the Health Department advisories to maintain social distancing at least 1 meter from one another.
