KHNAM announces its first list of 8 candidates for KHADC polls

The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Moement (KHNAM) on Thursday announced its first list of eight candidates for the upcoming elections to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC).

The list was approved by the state election committee.

The party’s working president Thomas Passah will be contesting from Jaiaw constituency.

The other candidates include Joseph H Pyngrope – Sohryngkham, Pynshai Mawrie – Mawkynrew, Banplieborlang Mawroh – Langkyrdem-Laitkroh, Peter Challam – Laitumkhrah-Malki, Raymond Basaiawmoit – Mawkhar Pynthorumkhrah, Iasuklang War – Shella and Baristar Poul Thyrniang – Mawkyrwat.
