KHNAM MLA concern over govt’s inaction against ‘instigators’

KHNAM legislator, Adelbert Nongrum on Wednesday expressed concern over the inaction of the state government against the “instigators” of communal hatred in the state.

“I am surprised by the fact that the government is yet to take proper action against the instigators,” Nongrum said in a statement.

He said if the government is responsible and wants the city to be in peace, it should take serious action against these instigators.

“Serious action against them is advisable. If compelled, an FIR should be filed against them as be it a high rank person or common man, they should be treated equally,” the MLA said.
