Kiang Nangbah Govt HSS Jowai’s School Week begin

The school week of Kiang Nangbah Govt Higher Secondary School, Jowai commence on Monday with all pomp and gaiety.

Organised with the theme of “Aspire, Strive and Achieved -2022,” the school week is welcome break for the Class XI and Class XII students from noting down notes and listening to lectures.

The students will get the opportunity to exhibit their skills and talents in the various activities from sports and games and to test of wits in quiz and debates and painting competition.

Inaugurating the School Week School Principal Lakhon Lamare said that the school week is the only platform for students to show case theirs talent in different activities and also help the school to select the best participants to participate in the interschool competition.

Assistant Lecturer Iakitboklang Sten said in order to attain the full development of a student, academics and other extracurricular activities is needed.

This School Week that we have arranged encourages our students to display their various talents that they are passionate about other than their regular academics, said Sten.

He added that it also helps the students to instil values like discipline and leadership skills that will be needed as in their matureness.
