KSU demands arrest of culprits

The Khasi Students Union (KSU) has demanded the law enforcing agency to take action against the culprits involved in the assault of local boys at Golflink area.

“We urge them to take necessary action, failing which the members of the indigenous community will not be just mere spectators…,” KSU chief Lambokstarwell Marngar said in a statement issued on Friday.

He also questioned the delay to arrest the perpetrators involved in the assault. The KSU has also warned against non-tribals asking them to stop provoking the union.
