KSU donates oxygen cylinders, PPEs, cash to Nazareth hospital
The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) on Friday donated five oxygen cylinders, PPEs and cash to the Nazareth hospital for combating against COVID-19.
The donated items were handed over by the KSU chief Lambokstarwell Marngar to the officials of the private hospital.
A statement issued by the union said the donation is a mark of supporting the hospitals which are battling against the COVID-19.
The KSU also lauded the selfless sacrifices of the doctors and other health workers to help in the speedy recovery of COVID-19 patients.
Earlier, the KSU has also extended a similar donation to the Dr H Gordon Robert hospital.
Meanwhile, the KSU through its different units and circles have continued to extend helping hands to poor families affected by the pandemic.
Essential commodities were donated to families Jaiaw Mihngi, Mawshbuit and Mawphlang and a children’s home at Mawnianglah Upper Shillong.
