Lady Super Cop Claudia Lyngwa as SP EKHD & new SP for EJHD, RBD, SWKH & WKH

SHILLONG: The courageous lady super cop who took on the banned HNLC on its peak time is back to district after years of posting in the State Police Headquarters, she is no other than Claudia Lyngwa, Indian Police Service (IPS) who is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police  East Khasi Hills District.

According to official sources, the State Government today issued a notification effecting major reshuffles in the Meghalaya Police department where SP of five districts were changed besides a host of additional SP level were transferred and posted in the state and also promoting two DSP officers to the rank of Additional SP.

Lyngwa who is presently holding the post of Commandant 1^st MLP Battalion will replaced the present SP Davis N R Marak, IPS, who is transferred and posted as SP (VIS), Shillong.

Present SP (VIS) Rithuraj Ravi IPS. Ravi has been assigned as SP of South West Garo Hills vice transfer of Bobby S W Momin while he is transferred and posted as SP (SB-II).

Debangshu D Sangma, IPS SP, Anti-Infiltration Directorate will take over as Commandant of 1^st MLP Battalion in place of Lyngwa.

Banshan J Laloo the present SP Traffic East Khasi Hills District is transferred and posted as the SP of West Khasi Hills District while Bikram D Marak, MPS, Deputy Commandant, 4^th MLP will now managed the traffic jams in East Khasi Hills District as SP (Traffic).

Maxwell B Syiem MPS, (SP, SB-II) will replaced Herbert G Lyngdoh, MPS as SP South West Khasi Hills District and Lyngdoh will take over as SP Economic Offences Wing under CID Shillong.

M Kharkrang, IPS Special SP (SB-I) is transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (R) while G D Kharwanlang MPS, SP West Khasi Hills will relieved Kharkrang as SSP (SB-1)

Vivekannada Singh IPS, Commandant 4^th MLP Battalion will take over as SP East Jaintia Hills District from present SP S Nongtnger, MPS and he is assigned as SP, Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Shillong.

Spill Thamar, MPS SP Ri Bhoi District is handed the responsibility as Commandant of 4^th MLP Battalion in place of Singh while Thamar is replaced by present commandant of 6^th MLP Battalion C Syrti, MPS as SP Ri Bhoi District.

Mary G T Sangma MPS 2^nd In Commandant MLP Battalion is transferred and posted as Commandant of 6^th MLP Battalion replacing Syrti.

Lethindra Sangma, MPS, additional SP East Jaintia Hills District is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant of 3^rdMLP Battalion, Sahbsein and he will be replaced by presented Additional SP of SF-10 Chauenali Sangma, MPS.

Kamakhya Prasad, MPS, Deputy Commandant 4^th MLP Battalion is transferred and posted as 2^nd in Command 1^st MLP Battalion. T C Chakko, MPS, Additional SP SF-10 is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant of 3^rd MLP Battalion.

Rangkitbok Tariang, MPS Assistant Commandant 4^th MLP Battalion will inter change place of posting with Jason Myrom, MPS, SDPO Amlarem.

Meanwhile, the government has promoted Restina Pathaw MPS, Assistant Commandant 1^st MLP Battalion (equivalent to DSP) to additional SP and transferred and posted her as Additional SP SF-10 vice transfer of Chacko and also promoted D W Kharbuki, MPS, DSP (DSB) to Deputy Commandant (equivalent to Additional SP) and transferred and posted him as Deputy Commandant 4^th MLP Battalion vice transferred of Prasad.
